Tonight is our local Relay for Life. We we will be in and out all night as we have three teams of folks walking for a cure in honor of a dear friend battling cancer. He is one of the most courages young men I've ever had the honor of knowing and he has so many supporting him tonight. He is battling an infection right now, a complication of his lowered immunity due to chemo treatments. He has never complained once, even now....he always has a positive attitude and looks forward to fulfiling so many dreams. God, keep him in your loving embrace just for today.

Good luck in your walk. I hate that demon, cancer!! It has struck too many of my friends.
I hate to see the young ones get it! He has so much going for him. I pray to God for a healing in Justin!

Rex, thanks for what you're doing for your friend. I lost a close dear friend to the big C last fall, and it just hurts.... I pray for people that have to deal with C. I wear my livestrong wristband. I have, ever since I got it after we found out Teddy's C was back. We do the Relay, in fact I have a few posts on my blog about it from back in June, with some kool photos if you and Justin are interested.

My husband used to work for the Cancer Society and run several relays. He was never home. I still wince a little when I see the logo
