Faced with a child (or a person of any age, for that matter) who is angry or rebellious? Consider the guidance from Vimala McClure:

I am grateful for the two children that I have been blessed to help raise, even though there are times when they drive me crazy.

What a wonderful gift. I think children are fabulous! My sis in law is the most amazing mom I've ever seen. 4 kids, now 9, 7, 5, and 3. the oldest three are girls and youngest is a boy. she NEVER raises her voice at them... she is an amazing mom.

All we wanted was a puppy... We got Ian. Two of the MOST self-centered people in the world (God if my wife ever saw that, eeks!!), and now we haev a thrid! I wouldn't trade my lil guy for anything at all. Thanks God, He saw fit to bless us with our lil nibbler. That just goes to show ya that I still have no clue what I need. I didn't think I needed to have a child!

Just throw them a box of Cheerios and some tinker toys.... That'll occupy 'em. j/k
My mother always says that God made kids cute so we would not kill them.
I'm with Trudge. Kids will try your patience, your sanity, everything. But now that my kids are adults, they are my favorite people in the whole world!
