Sisters For Life

"This is for my sister,
best friend and other half.
She is the one who sparked the flame of creativity in me."
So close, yet so far.
Together, yet apart.

We are sisters, body and soul,
Yet we are separate and alone.
Our bodies separated by land,
But nothing separates our hearts.

Even if our eyes cannot meet
We know each other's thoughts.
Forever sisters we shall be
Connected by something stronger than blood.

Never alone will we be
As long as we have each other.

Today I dropped off my Anna at the airport. It was a sad day, yet filled with joy. I know that we will see each other again soon. I am so blessed by a power beyond my imagination that I have been given a sister with which to share life on life's terms. I am grateful for the time we shared. Thank you to Ams and Nikkii for sharing with me. I know it was tough on you and I understand why.......your mother is an angel sent from a power greater than us who is meant ot touch our lives and bring them joy, purpose and direction. Love you guys.

For there is no friend like a sister, in calm or stormy weather, to cheer one on the tedious way, to fetch one if one goes astray, to lift one if one totters down, to strengthen whilst one stands.

It sounds like a great relationship.

Beautiful...
There's a song by Beth Hart called "Mother," & I always think of my sister when I play it....
"And she comes to me
when there's nothing I believe
And holds me so high
I am free......."

I have 3 sisters. One of which rents the downstairs apartment from me. For that I am very grateful. The other 2 live in different cities but the same state. Only a phone call away...or e-mail.
I see you and your sister too,
JJ
