The Mind

Leave the mind in its natural, undisturbed state.

Don't follow thoughts of "This is a problem, that is a problem!" Without labeling difficulties as problems, leave your mind in its natural state. In this way, you will stop seeing miserable conditions as problems."-

Lama Zopa Rinpoche, "Transforming Problems Into Happiness"

As you know my old sponsor drilled into my head ...dont think it.. dont speak it. Turns out she was right. To guard the mind of all the thoughts is hard to do. I have been able to put this into action for a couple years now and my life has changed in a big way.

Yeah, I like that. I have this thing where i feel i must assign value to everything, instead of letting stuff just be stuff. If I could ever break the habit of assigning value, perhaps I wouldn't stress so much over stuff! Good read this morning, thanks!
